Derek Todd Luke Skywalker and Doug comparison

Luke Skywalker was considered a hero in Star Wars and Doug was the hero of his own world in Blue Diamond. First, Luke had the power of using the force that Doug could never use. For instance Luke could sense things being shot at him even when he had a helmet on that he couldn't see out of. Luke used the force when he shot the Death Star's weak spot to destroy it. Doug's story takes place in Las Vegas while Luke's takes place in space. Doug goes gambling while he is in Las Vegas with his friend Quinn. Doug also has to drive there and back before his parents get back. Doug and Luke both have people that help them in their journeys. One of Luke's helpers is Han Solo, who helps him in the battle at the Death Star by taking down a few of the ships that could have shot Luke down. Doug had Quinn's help or could possibly even be a bad thing but Quinn helped convince Doug that he should go to Las Vegas. Even though Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and Doug from Blue Diamond have many differences they are both effective heroes in their own ways.
